These terms apply to your use of this website, which is operated by Mitten Technology LLC ("Mitten Technology," "we," "us"), a Michigan limited liability company based in Grand Blanc, Michigan. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What this site is for
This website describes our services and gives you a way to contact us. Its content is general information, not professional advice for your specific situation. Contacting us through the site does not create a client relationship or obligate either of us to anything. Any work we do together will be covered by a separate written agreement, and that agreement controls if it conflicts with these terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site or contact form to send spam, malicious code, or unlawful, abusive, or misleading content
- Try to gain unauthorized access to the site, its hosting, or related systems, or interfere with how they work
- Get around the site's spam protections, or use automated tools to submit the contact form

Intellectual property
The site's content, design, and code, and the Mitten Technology name and logo, belong to Mitten Technology LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. You may view and share pages from the site for personal or internal business use, but you may not copy, modify, or reuse our name, logo, or content in a way that suggests a connection with us or endorsement by us without written permission. Fonts used on the site are licensed under the SIL Open Font License.
Your submissions
When you send us a message, you confirm that you have the right to share its contents. Please don't send confidential information until we've agreed in writing how it will be handled. We treat messages as described in our Privacy Policy.
Third-party services and links
The site relies on and links to services run by others, including GitHub, EmailJS, and Google reCAPTCHA. Their own terms and policies apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimer
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the site, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we don't promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mitten Technology LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Indemnity
If you misuse the site or break these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, including legal fees, that we incur as a result.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to the site will be handled exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Genesee County, Michigan, or the federal court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and you and we consent to those courts' jurisdiction.
Changes and other terms
We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
