Privacy Policy

Effective October 26, 2026

The short version: we don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share your information. If you contact us, we use what you send only to reply and to work with you.

This policy explains how Mitten Technology LLC ("Mitten Technology," "we," "us") handles information when you visit this website or contact us through it. It applies only to this website, not to work we do for clients, which is covered by the agreement for that work.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you use our contact form or email us, we receive what you choose to send, typically:

Please don't send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive personal information through the form.

Information collected automatically

We don't run analytics or advertising tools, and this site doesn't set its own cookies. However, some services that make the site work receive basic technical information from your browser:

Our fonts and images are hosted with the site itself, so loading the page does not contact Google Fonts or other font services.

How we use information

We don't use your information for marketing lists, and we don't make automated decisions about you.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only:

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the length of that relationship plus any period required for legal, tax, or accounting records. If we don't end up working together, we delete inquiries within two years, or sooner if you ask.

Security

The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and we limit access to messages to the people who need it to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

Depending on where you live (for example, California or other U.S. states with privacy laws, or the European Economic Area and United Kingdom), you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to object to or restrict certain uses and the right to complain to a data protection authority. Where those laws apply, we rely on your request (to reply to your message) and our legitimate interest in running and protecting this website as the basis for using your information.

To make a request, email rneuwirth@mittentechnologyllc.com. We'll respond within 30 days, and we won't treat you differently for exercising your rights. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Because we don't track visitors or sell or share personal information, there is nothing for these signals to switch off on our end. We honor them by default.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Links to other sites

This site links to other websites, such as the policies of our service providers. We aren't responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll let you know before it takes effect.
